At the far left is a female Psi Judge, who, with her blonde hair, could be Psi Judge Cassandra Anderson. I have left her unnamed so she can be used as any female Psi Judge. She is holding her Lawgiver Pistol in her right hand.
Next up is a young Rookie Judge, easily identified by his white helmet and diminutive size. All Judges are taught how to ride the Lawmaster bike from a very early age. Perhaps this young Judge is riding out into the Cursed Earth on the Hotdog Run.
Warlord Games had this Med Judge on Lawmaster and Sidecar made but sadly it never went into production. A big shame as I certainly would have bought it. It was nice to see the Tek and Med Judges get their own specialist Lawmaster bikes but very sad that only one went on sale.
Another absolutely awesome post Bryan, packed full of wonderful "Judge Dredd" minis. I still feel a profound frustration at the Mongoose/Warlord debacle concerning "JD", and whilst I'm delighted to see the new superior sculpts (albeit I'm not a fan of resin minis), I do wish a lot of the older range had been given more shelf-time as there were some incredibly diverse minis to it.
ReplyDeleteThank you most kindly, Simon. I totally agree with you about the Mongoose/Warlord Games mismanagement of the "Judge Dredd" range. Hopefully, WG will have learned from their past mistakes and produce many diverse minis that the fans want. Regarding their resin minis I have heard nothing but high praise for their new resin formula. I actually like resin minis as they can hold a very high level of detail.
DeleteGreat work on these bikes Bryan and will certainly add more to your games.
ReplyDeleteBefore Mongoose joined forces Matt and I had been talking about doing specialist judges on bikes, this never came about due to the merger
Many thanks, Dave. That is such a shame that nothing came of your contribution.
DeleteSome more great bikes Bryan, I agree about the bike and sidecar that would have been a really great combination.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I had a bike and side car, it was one of the small lightweight sidecars. I carried a 1cwt bag of sand in the boot to try and hold it down on corners and the two brakes didn't sync, so when I braked the side car didn't slow down as fast as the bike and pushed me to the right, and when I accelerated the sidecar held back and pulled me left.
How I didn't have an accident is beyond me. Seeing your photo reminded me of more dangerous times.:)
Thank you for your delightful trip down memory lane, John. I don't drive but I have ridden on a motorbike behind the driver and it was quite an experience. Fortunately, my friend was a very good rider and no accidents occurred. We all do crazy things when we are young and believe ourselves to be invincible! :-)
DeleteCracking looking bikes Bryan & like other have said its a shame you couldn't get the one with the sidecar, as I could just see John & myself going around in it dishing out justice, with myself driving needlessly to say after reading his comment above :)
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated, Frank. I have no idea why Warlord Games didn't release the Med Judge on bike and sidecar as it is a superb model. I, too, could see you and John riding together getting up to all sorts of mischief! I'll try and make it happen! ;-)
DeleteThat would be fun
DeleteI certainly hope so, John!
DeleteIt will be fun alright Bryan as long as John doesn't end up getting me killed, there's a rumor going around that he goes through partners quicker then Dirty Harry lol
DeleteCrikey, Frank! Dirty Harry certainly got through his fair share of partners! :-0 Perhaps you should think of John as his Starsky to your Hutch?!
