At the left is Kelly Jones, a teenage nimble Chosen One St. Trinian's Sixth Form Student who has a yearning for action and adventure. Kelly is no ordinary human - she is a Chosen One, destined for greatness as a top agent for the UK's top secret spy agency, MI7. From a very early age, she was trained in the martial arts by her parents who were both martial arts teachers. They could have sent her to almost any school in England but chose St. Trinian's School for Girls. They knew that if Kelly could survive here, she could survive anything life threw at her. They weren't wrong. St. Trinian's turned out a lot better than boot camp could and she excelled as a student. It was never in any doubt that she would end up as Head Girl. When new girl Annabelle Fritton enrolled during Kelly's sixth and final year, Kelly saw something in her that told her she'd be a worthy successor as Head Girl and thus, helped to groom her to take over when Kelly graduated. The two became very close friends. Kelly helped plan and steal Vermeer's famous painting, The Girl with the Pearl Earring from the National Gallery in London. Kelly is an extremely likeable young woman, respected by all of the St. Trinian's pupils who aspire to be just like her. Kelly is filled with a yearning for action and adventure. She appeared in the St. Trinian's film as the Head Girl and reappeared in the sequel, St. Trinian's: the Legend of Fritton's Gold as an MI7 agent. She is rank grade:6 and aged 16. Her figure is produced by Copplestone Castings as part of their Future Wars Corporate Babes set.
Next to her is Annabelle Lealla Fritton, a teenage inspiring human St. Trinian's Sixth Form Head Girl who likes to keep fit. Annabelle, an uptight daddy's girl, was unwillingly transferred to St. Trinian's School from the distinguished Cheltenham Ladies College at the behest of her father, Carnaby, who was the brother of St. Trinian's headmistress, Camilla. Annabelle was clearly different to the other pupils and didn't fit in but head girl, Kelly Jones, took her under her wing and introduced her to the various cliques within the school. On her first night, Annabelle was pranked by the other girls, resulting in her running around the school naked being broadcast live on the internet. Soon after, the Cheltenham Ladies College hockey team arrived and Annabelle was forced to face her former bullies, including captain Verity Thwaites. The hockey match was inevitably violent, resulting in Kelly scoring the winning goal, which was followed by a brawl between the two schools. Annabelle was given a complete makeover by the pupils under the instructions of Kelly, who groomed Annabelle to become the new head girl after she, Kelly, graduated. Now, a year later, Annabelle is accepted by the pupils as a worthy successor to Kelly. She has totally transformed and is no longer the mousey, timid girl but a young woman who exudes confidence, sex appeal and is a style icon. My characterisation of Annabelle is based on her appearance in St. Trinian's: the Legend of Fritton's Gold. She is rank grade:6 and aged 16. Her figure is a conversion of a Copplestone Castings Future Wars Corporate Babes 2 set with her katana being replaced by a hockey stick.
Next up are four girls from the Posh Totty clique, starting at the far left with Chelsea Parker, a teenage persuasive human St. Trinian's Sixth Form student who always knows the latest fashions. Chelsea was blessed with good looks, good fortune and incredible wealth from birth. Her father is a CEO of a large international finance firm and her mother works as a lawyer. She has never known poverty or hardship in her life and is used to getting her own way at all times. When she was enrolled at St. Trinian's School for Girls she was immediately adopted by the Posh Totty tribe. Now, aged 16, she is the leader of the Posh Totty tribe, a young woman admired by many. She is beautiful and she knows it. Although there are many who would regard her as an airhead, she proved them all wrong when she led a St. Trinian's team to a famous but unexpected victory in the recent School Challenge TV quiz. Admittedly, her team cheated in every round, but no one outside of St. Trinian's were aware of such shenanigans. Chelsea is rank grade:6 and aged 16. She appeared in both of the recent St. Trinian's films. Her figure was produced by Hasslefree Miniatures as Bathing Suit Libby, which I converted by adding her school uniform.Next in line is Chloe Bernath, a teenage suave human St. Trinian's Sixth Form student who follows celebrity gossip. Chloe is the only daughter of James and Sylvia, who are both very rich and successful. James is an investment banker and Sylvia is a solicitor. Both work in the City and they rub shoulders with the movers and shakers. They spoilt Chloe as a child, so she never experienced poverty or hardship. When Chloe enrolled at St. Trinian's School for Girls she naturally joined the Posh Totty group of students. She became very close friends with Chelsea Parker and Peaches Karan. The three girls were chosen by Miss Dickinson as the St. Trinian's team for the popular School Challenge TV quiz show. The team made it to the final by cheating in every round and they won the final which came to a closely fought finale with both sides on equal points before the last question. Chloe is a beautiful young woman, very suave and charismatic. She enjoys following celebrity gossip. Chloe is rank grade:6 and aged 16. Her character appeared in the 2007 St. Trinian's film. Her figure was made up from parts of the Warlord Games Project Z Female Survivors set.
Second from the right is Rachel Smith-Edwards, a teenage suave human St. Trinian's Sixth Form student who flirts constantly. Rachel hails from Basingstoke, the largest town in Hampshire. The only daughter of affluent parents she had a privileged upbringing. From an early age, she was introduced to the high society and she quickly learned how to influence others with a smile and a witty or flirtatious remark. When she enrolled at St. Trinian's School for Girls, she was immediately accepted into the Posh Totty tribe of like-minded girls. St. Trinian's changed her and not in a good way. She learned a lot of bad habits, like gambling, and as her body matured, using her sex appeal to get what she wanted. Realising that crime does pay, she set up a protection racket when she became a Sixth Former. She also acquired a 9mm Beretta 92F pistol, which she keeps hidden, but uses it to intimidate those who don't obey her demands. To many, the Posh Totty clan are seen as vacuous airheads who are only interested in looking beautiful but Rachel is a cold and calculating bitch, who will go to any lengths to get what she wants. Rachel is rank grade:6 and is aged 16. She did not appear in any of the films and is one of my original creations. Her figure is a converted Copplestone Castings Bodyguard in Bikini from their Future Wars Civilians range.
Last up is Regina Hilton, a teenage athletic human St. Trinian's Sixth Form student who has a keen interest in the martial arts. Regina excelled at sports from a very early age. Her academic skills were very poor but that didn't bother her as she was far more interested in developing her athletic abilities. When she enrolled at St.Trinian's School for Girls as a First Former she was encouraged by her tutors to concentrate on her athletic prowess. By the time she became a Third Former, she was an excellent all rounder in all sports she participated in. It was at this point in her life that she took up jujitsu. She took to it like a fish to water and spent the next four years concentrating as a jujitsu martial artist. She grew into a very beautiful woman and became a member of the Posh Totty clique. Knowing that no one would dare to take her on in a fight, the Posh Totty girls were glad to have her as a protector. Before joining the Posh Totties she was only interested in sports but now, her social skills are developing thanks to the tutelage of her Posh Totty friends. Regina is also rank grade:6 and is aged 16. She is another character who I have designed as she did not appear in any of the films. Her figure is a very rare Ground Zero Games Gentleman's Club figure.
Very nicely painted group Bryan, the models you've chose fit the characters from the film very well
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly, Dave. That was a big fun part of this project - picking the right figures to match their characters.
DeleteWonderful models Bryan captures St Trinians perfectly & a nice bit of kit-bashing as well as painting :)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Frank. I do enjoy kit-bashing and converting, plus painting these was an absolute pleasure.
DeleteExcellent stuff Bryan and some very nice conversions, I'm enjoying this series of figures, it's so long since I last watched a St Trinian's film that I can't remember the characters but I can remember the ethos and you seem to have captured it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for the New Year.
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment, John. I think you can tell that this project is a labour of love for me. I'm having so much fun here!
DeleteAll the best to you and your family for 2019.
